NATCHEZ — For the third time in less than a week, a game in the first round of the MHSAA Class 1A South State Playoffs between Cathedral and Nanih Waiya has been postponed due to rain.

After Games 1 and 2 were each pushed back a day because of the inclement weather, the same thing happened to the deciding Game 3 of this best-of-three series, which was scheduled for 6 p.m. Monday at Nanih Waiya. The game will be played at 3 p.m. today.

The winner of that game will take on Region 6-3A champion Hartfield Academy in the South State semifinals, which starts on Friday.
