NATCHEZ — Services for Cortina Holt-Lassiter, 40, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at her residence, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Bright Star Baptist Church with Dr. Tracy Cusic officiating.

Burial will follow at Sunset View Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mrs. Lassiter was born Sept. 22, 1972, in Natchez, the daughter of Alfred Holt Sr. and Bernice O’Neal Holt.

She was preceded in death by her mother; one brother, Daniel Holt; two aunts, Gloria Holmes and Bessie McMorris; and three uncles, James O’Neal, Lepolean Grinnell and Surget Clayton.

Survivors include three children, Jalen Johnson, Victor Lassiter Jr. and India Lassiter; her father; three sisters, Traci Griffin and husband, Kenneth, Erica Holt and husband, Kwesia, and Shalonda Holt; three brothers, Alfred Holt Jr. and wife, Lasandra, James Ricky O’Neal and Vashion Grinnell; five aunts, Augustine O’Neal, Erma Hudson, Addie Grinnell, Bernadine Brinkley and Ernestine King; one uncle, Ulyssess Jackson; mother-in-law, Lillie Lassiter; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
