JONESVILLE — The Ram Rodeo Series will be making a visit to Jonesville at 8 p.m. tonight and Saturday, giving contestants a chance to compete in rodeo events.

The Ram Rodeo Series will feature the seven traditional rodeo events: bareback riding, steer wrestling, team roping, saddle bronc riding, tie-down roping, women’s barrel racing and bull riding. The event will be hosted at the Black River Rodeo Arena on 614 Dorothy Drive.

The Ram Rodeo Series began more than 30 years ago with only 18 events, and it now features more than 560 events throughout the United States.

In addition, eligible visitors will be entered into the 2013 Ram Rodeo National Sweepstakes for a chance to win $45,000 toward any eligible Chrysler Vehicle.

One lucky participant will win a Ram branded belt buckle at the event. Five $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to the National Little Britches participants on behalf of the Ram truck brand.
