David Gardner and Debra Jackson of Natchez announce the engagement of their daughter, Amy Lynn Gardner, to Joshua James Sutton, son of Robert and Kathy Sutton of Hattiesburg.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Adams County Christian School in Natchez, the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg and the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry in Jackson. She is the granddaughter of Diane Tanksley and the late Kenneth Tanksley of Lorman and Angela Gardner and the late Howard Gardner of Natchez.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Oak Grove High School in Hattiesburg and the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg. He is the grandson of Ray and Sylvia Standley of Hattiesburg and the late Mary Linton of Gautier and the late James Sutton of Tylertown.

The wedding will be at 6 p.m., Saturday, May 18, 2013, at Jefferson Street United Methodist Church in Natchez. A reception will follow at Weymouth Hall in Natchez.
