NATCHEZ — Graveside services for Jonas “Bear” Williams, 77, of Natchez, who died Sunday, May 12, 2013, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Natchez City Cemetery with the Rev. Frank Sullivan officiating.

Burial will follow under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from noon until 3 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Williams was born Nov. 25, 1935, in Adams County, the son of Sam Williams and Elizabeth Granger Lyles.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Lucinda Sashfras.

Survivors include one sister, Lucy Perry; one nephew, Dave Sashfras; one niece, Flora McCoy, all of Natchez; and a number of other relatives and friends.
