NATCHEZ — Fred Louis Rosiek, 79, of Natchez, died Friday, May 17, 2013, at his residence.

Mr. Rosiek was born Aug. 13, 1933, in Omar, Mich., the son of Joseph and Nellie Rosiek.

He was a retired civil engineer.

Mr. Rosiek was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Joe, John, Steve and Eddie, and one sister, Anna.

Survivors include his wide, Cesa Irene Rosiek of Natchez; one son, Jerry Rosiek and wife, Alison Schmitke, of Eugene, Oregon; one daughter, Lynn Leckie and husband, John M. Leckie, of Natchez; one granddaughter, Nellie Schmitke-Rosiek of Eugene, Oregon; one grandson, Ricky Leckie of Natchez; five brothers, Stanley Rosiek and wife, Albania, of Standish, Mich., Pete Rosiek of Sterling Heights, Mich., Frank Rosiek and wife, Ethelene, of Royal Oak, Mich., Richard Rosiek of Arlington, Texas, and Louie Rosiek of Troy, Mich.

His family would like to specially acknowledge Dr. Vikram Dulam, Donald and Martha Richardson, Hayden and Michelle Kaiser and family for their thoughtfulness.
