NATCHEZ — Services for Louise Jones Calcote, 75, of Natchez, who died Saturday, May 18, 2013, at Promise Hospital in Vidalia, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Carl Smith officiating.

Burial will follow in Mount Carmel Cemetery in Franklin County under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. today at the funeral home at from 1 p.m. until service time Monday.

Mrs. Calcote was born June 29, 1937, in Franklin County, the daughter of Eugene and Lillian Jones.

She was a member of Springfield Baptist Church.

Mrs. Calcote was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Peggy Partin and Patsy Verucchi.

Survivors include her husband, Burnie Lee Calcote of Natchez; three sons, Donnie Lynn Calcote of Waxahachie, Texas, Billy Gene Calcote of Natchez and Johnny Wayne Calcote of Walker, La.; one daughter, Gwendalyn Stithem of Walker, La.; five sisters, Winnie Mae Harrell of Monroe, Jane Ables, Ruth Jacobs, both of Madison, Ann Clark and Joyce Bowman, both of Vicksburg; nine grandsons; five granddaughters; and a number of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Shawn Dewitt, Jace Calcote, Skip Stithem, Casey Calcote, Johnny Guice and Ridge Calcote.

Honorary pallbearers will be Josh Calcote and Chris Stithem.
