COVINGTON, La. — Memorial services for Penny Kaye Vanya Bradley, 55, of Mandeville, La., who died Monday, May 13, 2013, surrounded by her family, after a courageous battle with cancer, were 2 p.m., Thursday, May 16, 2013, at The Vineyards Church in Covington, La.
Arrangements were under the direction of Bagnell & Son Funeral Home in Covington.
A reception immediately followed at the Bradley home in Mandeville.
Mrs. Bradley was born March 14, 1958, in Ferriday, the daughter of “Blackie” Vanya and Willie Vanya.
Penny was a loyal and dedicated employee of Fresh Market until her illness. One of the most loving, kind and gentle people to all who knew her, Penny will be deeply missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Lannie Brown.
Survivors include her husband of 39 years, James Micheal Bradley; one son, James Christopher Micheal Bradley and wife, Sarabeth; three grandchildren, Ava James Machayla Bradley, Isabella May Koepp and Russell Arthur Koepp Jr.; four sisters, Nancy Brown, Patsy Long and husband, Doc, Pat Bradley and Annie Dean and husband, Malcolm; two brothers, Donnie Bradley and wife, Jennifer, and Rick Bradley and wife, Robin; and a number of nieces and nephews.
There are so many friends and family members who touched Penny’s heart that we cannot name them all, but please know that she loved you so.
