053013 FrankSidorowicz obitpicKELLER, Texas — Memorial services for Frank Sidorowicz, 64, who died Thursday, May 23, 2013, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 4, 2013, at Northwood Church in Keller, Texas.

Frank was born Dec. 15, 1948, in Lorain, Ohio, the son of Zigmunt and Genevieve Sidorowicz. He was a graduate of Admiral King High School and Lorain County Community College. He received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business administration from the University of Southern Mississippi.

Frank started his career at Amoco Research Center in Naperville, Ill., and later moved to Natchez to become the quality manager for Amoco Petroleum Additives plant. In 1993, Frank became a quality systems auditor. He opened a regional office for BVQI in Plano, Texas, and became vice president of its western division. In 2004, he became TL9000 program manager for TUV SUD America on a global basis. Most recently, he worked for Orion Registrar of Arvada, Colo., as their TL9000 program director and has been working with QuEST Forum, a global telecommunications association, for 11 years.

Frank’s hobbies were music and woodworking. While in Natchez, he had lead roles in the Natchez Little Theatre productions and served on its board for a number of years. As a member of Parkway Baptist Church, he led children’s choir, sang solo and in a quartet. In Plano, Texas, at Parkway Hills Baptist Church, Frank continued these musical activities but added handbell ringing. He made and restored a number of beautiful pieces of furniture for friends and family including grandfather clocks, cabinets, shelves, benches and tables. He was deeply loved and will be missed by his family.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Sidorowicz; two daughters, Melanie Williamson and husband, Christopher, of Windham, N.H., and Angela Hodge and husband, Timothy, of Keller; four grandchildren, Jenna and Amelia Williamson and Mason and Kathryn Hodge; two brothers, Rick Sidorowicz of Pinellas Park, Fla., and Ralph Sidorowicz and wife, Emily, of Thermal, Calif.; and two sisters, Diane Lesuik and husband, Orest, of Lorain, Ohio, and Irene Potoski and husband, Ron, of Cleveland, Ohio.

Memorials may be made to the National Brain Tumor Society or to a charity of choice.
