NATCHEZ — Services for Otis Samuel Vines, 94, of Natchez, who died Monday, May 20, 2013, in Kenner, La., will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Russell Wagoner officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Vines was born June 25, 1918, in Natchez, the son of Grover Vines and Mamie Vines. His family loved and misses him more than can be imagined. He will always be remembered for his giving spirit and the positive impact he had on his family and his many, many friends.
Mr. Vines was a member of Cliff Temple Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ann Vines; one daughter, Barbara Panepinto; and one brother, Nelson Vines.
Survivors include one daughter, Margaret Coskery of Lumberton, N.J.; his adopted daughter, Jean Moffett of Natchez; 11 grandsons, Bryan Coskery and Chuck Coskery, both of Medford Lakes, N.J., Chip Coskery and Drew Coskery, both of Lumberton, Dr. Rory Panepinto of Metairie, La., Rock Panepinto, Rossi Panepinto and Rosario Panepinto, all of Belle Chasse, La., Roy Panepinto of Lafayette, La., Mike Moffett of Booneville, Ark., and Mark Moffett of Spring Hill, Tenn.; six granddaughters, Susan Parnell of Picayune, Stephanie Moffett of Grapevine, Texas, Dr. Robin Gayle Panepinto of Franklin, Tenn., Roxanne Dunne of Gulfport, Ronessa LeBlanc and Romy Matrana, both of Gretna, La.; one sister, Denzil Vines Good of Wiggins; 13 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Rory Panepinto, Mark Moffett, Rock Panepinto, Dominick Panepinto, Wayne Zimmerman, Millard Williams, Chip Coskery and Drew Coskery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cliff Temple Baptist Church.
