FROGMORE — Services for Wess Green, 82, of Ferriday, who died Sunday, May 26, 2013, at his residence, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. James Baptist Church in Frogmore with the Rev. L.B. Oliver officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Green was born April 23, 1931, in Frogmore, the son of Willie and Luvenia Collins Green. He was a retired cement finisher.

Survivors include one son, Lionel Green of Beaumont, Texas; three brothers, Jerry Green, Ernest Green and Lee Edward Green; two sisters, Willie Mae Leonard and husband, David, and Ruby G. Wesley, all of Ferriday; four grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
