WOODVILLE — Mass for Myrl Larrieu Calvert, 97, of Woodville, who died Sunday, June 2, 2013, will be at noon Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Scott Dugas officiating.

Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery under the direction of Newman Funeral Home in Centreville.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the church.

Mrs. Calvert was born Oct. 6, 1915, in New Orleans, the daughter of John George Larrieu and Marion Richard Larrieu. She was a retired librarian.

Mrs. Calvert was a member of the Fort Adams Women’s Club, U.D.C., the Junior Irvin Russell Club and member of St. Joseph Catholic Church..

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert LaRue Calvert; and one brother, Richard George Larrieu.

Survivors include two daughters, Pamela Calvert Keith of Mobile, Ala., and Margery Calvert Bennett of Woodville; one son, Larry Calvert of Woodville; one sister, Jeannette Larrieu Thimmesch of Woodville; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be John Winter Calvert, Thomas Freemont Earnshaw, Michael Colin Scott, Wayne Stanley Keith, William Wallace Bennett, Raul Miguel Busquet and Paul Daniel Thimmesch.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a favorite charity.
