CENTREVILLE — Services for Roy Ash, 79, of Centreville, who died Tuesday, June 4, 2013, at Wilkinson County Nursing Center, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Newman Funeral Home with the Rev. Darby Combs officiating.
Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of Newman Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
Mr. Ash was born Nov. 4, 1933, the son of Hulette Holmes Ash and Hazel Gayle Ash. He was the parts manager for Sanders Tractor and Seale Tractor in Woodville. He was retired.
Mr. Ash served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Centreville United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Brooksie McGraw Ash.
Survivors include one daughter, Rachel Lea and husband, Rachel, of Madison; two sons, Karl Ash of Guymon, Okla., and Larry Ash and wife, Mary, of Purvis; one brother, Richard Earl Ash of Centreville; and three grandchildren, Emma Ash of Plainfield, Ill., Tyler Ash of Purvis and Abbey Lea of Madison.
Pallbearers will be Gene Walters, Bubba Sanders, Mike Hughes, Harry Cater, Phillip Dennis Johnson Jr. and Derrick Dewayne Johnson.
