NATCHEZ — Services for Rosie Lee Bates, 52, of Natchez, who died Monday, June 10, 2013, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Greater Mount Bethel Baptist Church with the Rev. Johnny Elery officiating.

Burial will follow at Sunset View Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mrs. Bates was the daughter of Isam and Dorothy Jones. She worked as a private sitter.

She enjoyed singing, shopping and spending time with her kids.

Mrs. Bates was Baptist.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Clifford Jones; and one grandson, Kadarius Jones.

Survivors include her husband of 22 years, John Bates; three daughters, Cynthia and Shania Jones, both of Natchez, and Keisha Jones of Gautier; one stepdaughter, Joyceln Bates of Irving, Texas; 16 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Isam Jones of Natchez and Shelby Butler of Miami; two sisters, Doris Jones and Mamie Jones, both of Natchez; two special nieces, Chazelle and Ashley Jones, both of Natchez; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Devin Collins, Leroy Lyles, Kevin Bates, Andrew Bates, Anthony Bates and Wilbert Whitley.
