FAYETTE — Services for Jacqueline Marie Fells, 68, of Fayette, who died Saturday, June 22, 2013, at Central Mississippi Medical Center, will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Crown Point United Methodist Church in Fayette with the Rev. Burnell Newsome officiating.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Rollins Funeral Home in Fayette.
Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Fells was born Jan. 1, 1945, in Adams County, the daughter of James Ellis and Ruby Lee Fells-Wilkins.
She was a member of Crown Point U.M.C., where she served as a choir member.
Mrs. Fells was preceded in death by her father; two children, Marcus Fells and Lucy Fells; her grandparents, Willie and Luberta Fells; two uncles, James Fells and Lonnie Fells; and one aunt, Helen Kennebrew.
Survivors include her mother; one daughter, Shelia Fells; two brothers, James Ellis of Natchez and Donald Ellis of Vicksburg; three sisters, Patricia Thomas and husband, Alvin, of Baton Rouge, Luberta Thomas and husband, Billy, and Pamela Mackel and husband, Michael, all of Natchez; three cousins who were like sisters, Barbara Starks and husband, Charles, Dorothy Stampley and husband, Julius, and Julia Hamberlin and husband, James, all of Fayette; one uncle, Willie Fells Sr. and wife, Stella, of Milwaukee, Wis.; one godson, Montrese Vessell; and a number of other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Terrance Stampley, Terrance Stampley Jr. and Kenneth Williams.
Honorary pallbearers will be James Ellis Jr., Donald Ray Ellis, Alvin Thomas III, Michael Mackel, Blarrington Ellis and Dakota Mackel.
