NATCHEZ — Natchez police are investigating a robbery in which two men reportedly stole $1,500 in cash from a stranded motorist.
According to reports at the Natchez Police Department, the victim stopped her vehicle near the intersection of Concord Street and Old Washington Road to check a maintenance problem when two men in a maroon sedan pulled up and pointed a gun at her, commanding her not to look up.
One of the suspects then got out and searched her car, taking a bank bag with approximately $1,500 in cash from the vehicle, which the report states was to pay her bills.
The suspects left the area traveling eastbound on Old Washington Road.
