LIBERTY — Funeral services for Mrs. Brenda Denise “Cake” Allen, 49, of Liberty, who died Sunday, June 30, 2013 at Ochsners Medical Center in New Orleans, will be noon today at the Amite River Baptist Association Building in Liberty.

Burial will follow at the St. Mary Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. until time of services Friday at the Amite River Baptist Association Building.

Mrs. Allen was born May 24, 1964 in Natchez, the daughter of Eula Cotton and James Anderson. She was preceded in death by her father; her grandparents, Alex and Christine Anderson, and one son, Joseph Anderson.

Survivors include her husband, Ronnie Allen; her mother; one daughter, Tynesha Allen; one son, Jonathan Allen; one stepdaughter, Demetria Hudson, all of Liberty; three sisters, Patricia Norwood and husband, Johnnie Sr., and Christine Perry, all of Liberty, and Teresa Anderson and husband, Reginale, of Gloster; two brothers, James Anderson and wife, Lucille, and Jimmy Anderson and wife, JoAnne, all of Liberty; four grandchildren, Kyla Hudson, Madison Hudson, Quentis Griffin Jr., and Seth Hutchinson, and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
