RIDGECREST — Services for Woodrow “Nutsy” Wilson, 90, of Ferriday, who died Saturday, June 29, 2013, at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. James Baptist Church in Ridgecrest with the Rev. Christopher Robinson officiating.

Burial will follow at the Vidalia Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Wilson was born Dec. 12, 1922, in Woodville, the son of Joe and Mandy Terry Wilson.

Mr. Wilson was a farmer.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosie Lee Tyler Wilson and one daughter, Deloris Wilson.

Survivors include two daughters, Amandy W. Milligan and husband, James, of Ferriday and Doris Fountain of New Orleans; four grandchildren he raised as his own, Sylvester Wilson and wife, Karen, Kathryn W. Moore and husband, Hilton, all of Monroe, La., Niles Wilson and wife, Addie, and Arthur Wilson and wife, Josephine, all of Ferriday; 24 grandchildren; and 32 great-great-grandchildren.
