NATCHEZ — Graveside services for Vivian Delaney Jackson, 59, of Natchez and formerly of Baton Rouge, who died Saturday, July 6, 2013 at Glenburney Nursing Home, will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.

Burial will follow at the cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. today and 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, both at the funeral home.

Vivian was born June 15, 1954, the daughter of Charles Sidney Delaney and Helen Murray Delaney. She was a 1972 graduate of Adams County Christian School and a member of Morgantown Baptist Church. Vivian was a loving sister, daughter and friend. She always put the needs of others before her own. She had a great sense of humor and the ability to make others laugh. Her greatest pleasures were giving gifts to others and caring for animals. She fought her cancer like a champion and never complained. She was loved by all who knew her, and she will be terribly missed.

She was preceded in death by her mother.

Survivors include her father; and one sister, Melody Delaney Martin and husband, Vann, of Rockwood, Tenn.
