071013 ArieMiller obitpicNATCHEZ — Services for Arie Ann “Doll” Miller, 94, of Jackson, who died Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Christian Hope Baptist Church with the Rev. John Scott officiating.

Burial will follow at the Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday at the church.

Mrs. Miller was born May 26, 1920, in Church Hill, the daughter of Martin and Nellie Griften McGrew.

She loved to lift her heavenly voice in the choir. She was a member of the Adams County Federation of Democratic Women as well as a charter member of Christian Hope Baptist Church.

Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Lewis Miller and one daughter, Margree Edwina Clark.

Survivors include two daughters, Mary Ann Mann and Secelia V. Bailey and husband, George; one son, Edward A. Miller and wife Debra; six grandchildren, Christopher Clark, Eugene Etheredge Jr., Carlos Etheredge and wife, Sandra, Alton L. Clark, Edwin Miller and wife, Chiquita, Antoine Miller and wife, Tiffany; three great-grandchildren, Marquis Watts, Destenee Miller and Demarius Felton; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
