Concordia Parish Library offers various e-services

FERRIDAY — Concordia Parish Library is proud to offer various e-services to its patrons. To get access to free downloadable e-books, audiobooks, movies, music, and magazines, all you need is a Concordia Parish Library card. To get started using one of these convenient e-services, visit our website: www.concordia.lib.la.us.

If you would like to start using your library card to download e-books, audiobooks, and movies, you will find a link near the bottom of our home page for Overdrive. Clicking on that link will take you to the Trailblazer Library System’s collection of e-materials. You can also go directly to the website at trailblazer.lib.overdrive.com. Here you will be able to sign in with your library card number, and you will have access to check out e-books and more on your Kindle, iPad, Nook, or other device.

Concordia Parish Library also offers free music downloads through Freegal. To access this service, you can find the link on our webpage, or you can visit concordia.freegalmusic.com. Here you will be able to login with your library card number and have access to three song downloads per week. For your convenience, you can download the Freegal Music app if you have an Apple device.

The Library is also excited to offer free magazine downloads through Zinio. A link to access this service can also be found on our webpage, or you can visit www.rbdigital.com/trailblazerla to login or create an account. Once signed in, you will have access to download any magazine in the Trailblazer Library System’s collection. Zinio also has a downloadable app available in the App Store for Apple users.

Concordia Parish Library is proud to provide the latest services in technology to its patrons. Your tax dollars and your library card open up a world of new opportunities in the digital realm. We provide these exciting services for your convenience and enjoyment, and we hope you take advantage of them. If you would like to learn how to download Apps and e-Books, the Library will be offering an iPad and Kindle Fire: Tips and Techniques class from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Ferriday Library.
