Gary Hall of Fayette and Cynthia McBride of Arlington, Texas announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Jenethia Jená Hall to Shawn Cortez Davis, son of Maury and Melissa Bedford of Stone Mountain, Ga.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Jefferson County High School and Hinds Community College.

She is the granddaughter of the late J.L and Ella Mae Thomas, the late I.P. Hall of Fayette and the late Shirley Hall-Felton of McNair.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Natchez High School and Copiah-Lincoln Community College.

He is the grandson of Don and Adell “Tiny” Green and Wilbert Berry, all of Natchez.

The wedding will be at 5 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 10, 2013, at Pilgrim Baptist Church in Natchez.

A reception will follow at the Natchez Community Center.
