MADISON — Services for Sharee Levingston, 61, of Jackson, who died Thursday, July 18, 2013, at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Madison.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. at Moak’s Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Summit under the direction of Sebrell Funeral Home in Ridgeland.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Levingston was born in 1951 in Natchez. She was a 1976 graduate of Delta State University, earning a master of education degree.
Mrs. Levingston married Kenneth Levingston in Ruleville in 1983 and they later moved to Jackson in 1986. She taught in Open Doors in a number of elementary schools, notably Casey Elementary, influencing and opening the minds of all her students.
Mrs. Levingston was preceded in death by her father, Grady Hodges and her husband, Kenneth, of 19 years.
Survivors include one son, Jameson Kline Levingston of Jackson; her mother, Evelyn Hodges of Natchez; one brother, Gary Hodges; and two nieces, Brandy and Brittney Hodges, all of Oklahoma City, Okla.
