SICILY ISLAND — Services for Chester L. Verbeck, 52, of Clayton, who died Friday, July 19, 2013, will be at 10 a.m. today at First Baptist Church in Sicily Island.

Burial will follow at Highland Park Cemetery in Sicily Island under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

Mr. Verbeck was preceded in death by his father, Louis Jack Verbeck.

Survivors include two daughters, Brandy Pitts of Manifest, La., and Cassie Verbeck of Clayton; two sons, Jewel and Jeremy Verbeck, both of Clayton; his mother, Mildred Smith of Clayton; one brother, Mike Smith; two sisters, Alicia Barron and Joyce Cupit, both of Clayton; six grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews and friends.

Pallbearers will be Mikey Cain, D.R. Cain, Joey Jenkins, Eugene Herron, Bill Smith and Daniel Cupit.

Honorary pallbearers will be Seth Phillips, Donnie Cain and Doug Leonard,
