NATCHEZ — Graveside services for Frederice Jean Hall Cummings, 72, formerly of Vidalia, who died Tuesday, July 23, 2013, at Courtyard Health & Rehabilitation Center in El Dorado, Ark., will be at 3 p.m. today at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Cummings was born Feb. 12, 1941, in Candler, N.C., the daughter of Edgar J. and Anna Ford Hall.
She worked as the deli manager for Piggly Wiggly and as a waitress for The Tea Room before retiring.
Mrs. Cummings was a member of First Baptist Church of Vidalia.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ray Cummings Sr.; her parents; three brothers, James Hall, Arville Hall and Charles Hall; and three sisters, Georgia Queen, Hazel Warren and June Smith.
Survivors include one son, Billy Ray Cummings Jr. and wife, Vicki, of Vidalia; one daughter, Nancy Archer and husband, Chad, of El Dorado; two sisters, Joanne Gallamore and husband, Wayne, and Sue Smith and husband, Sammy, all of Candler; one grandson, Zachary Archer of El Dorado; three granddaughters, Jessica Davis and husband, John, Amanda Cummings and Kathryn Archer, all of El Dorado; and four great-grandchildren.
