Feb. 12, 1943 – July 30, 2013

MONTEREY — Services for Susan Randall, 70, of Vidalia, who died Tuesday, July 30, 2013, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Monterey Church of Christ with the Revs. Clyde Grammon, Russell Crum and Paul Avery officiating.

Burial will follow at Ford Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the church.

Mrs. Randall was born Feb. 12, 1943, in Ferriday, the daughter of Marcus Clifford Broussard and Eunice Marie Broussard.

Mrs. Randall was a member of Monterey Church of Christ. She retired from the Concordia Parish School System after teaching 34 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Earl Randall, and her parents.

Survivors include two sons, Garlen Randall and wife, Jamie of Monterey and Cliff Randall of Vidalia; one grandson, Hunter Randall; a special niece, Kathy Boyd; and special friends, Nett McClain and Gayle Simonton.

Pallbearers will be Dan Lanehart, Lon Randall, Lee McClain, William Blackman, Kent Bennett, Uel Beard, Dustin Owen and Tal Taliaferro.

Honorary pallbearers will be Raymond Bennett, Tam Winston III, Tam Winston IV, Billy Green, Philip Blount, Bozo Blount, Butch Cross, Jack McClemore, George McClain, Jonathan Thorpe, Fritz Englade, Dewayne Small and Lovice Beard Jr.

The family extends a special thanks to Lisa Cazelot, Jack Rodriguez, Dena Tolliver, Danna Evans, Casey Welch, Mel Harveston, Merry Kay Hutson, Mattie Ames, Tammy Smith and many more.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
