Mrs. Lepora Ellis of Natchez announces the engagement of her daughter, Patricia Green, to Lester Newbill, son of Mrs. Genevia Campbell of Ferriday.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of North Natchez High School and a graduate of Troy State University via online.

She is employed by the Department of Defense in Belleville, Ill.

The groom to be is a graduate of Ferriday High School and is employed by State Farm Insurance in Bloomington, Ill.

The wedding will be at 3 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013, at Pleasant Green Baptist Church in Natchez. A reception will follow at the Vue Hotel and Restaurant.
