NATCHEZ — Graveside services for Paul L. Sumrall, 88, of Kosciusko, formerly of Natchez, who died Sunday, Aug. 4, 2013, at the Mississippi Veterans Home in Kosciusko, will be at 11 a.m. today at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Ralph Webber officiating.

Burial will follow under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 10 to 10:45 a.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Sumrall was born Aug. 30, 1924, in Jayess, the son of Festus B. Sumrall and Trula Carney Sumrall. He was retired from International Paper Company.

Mr. Sumrall was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Jerry Sumrall.

Survivors include his wife, Bernice Sumrall; one daughter, Louise Bland and husband, Thomas, of Brandon; one son, Gerry Sumrall and wife, Letha, of Natchez; three stepchildren, Gloria Taylor, Sandra Burns and Nick Rushing; one sister, Dorothy Alexander of Jayess; and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
