NATCHEZ — Adams County Christian School’s varsity girls’ district soccer match at home against Central Hinds Academy was called off one hour after it scheduled start time of 3:30 p.m. due to heavy thunderstorms that moved through the Miss-Lou area Tuesday afternoon.

No make-up date has been scheduled. The Lady Rebels don’t play again until next Wednesday when they hit the road to take on Veritas.

That wasn’t the only local sporting event affected by the inclement weather.

Trinity Episcopal’s non-district fast-pitch softball home game against Porter’s Chapel Academy was also canceled. No make-up date has been set for that game. The Lady Saints play again at 5 p.m. Thursday for an MAIS 7-A game at Tallulah Academy.
