NATCHEZ — Services for Adell W. Quinn, 87, of Natchez, who died Monday, Aug. 12, 2013, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Church of Jesus Christ God’s Son on Morgantown Road with the Rev. Greg Watkins officiating.

Burial will follow at St. Paul African Methodist Episcopal Church Cemetery under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from noon to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 1 p.m. until service time Friday at the church.

Mrs. Quinn was born May 30, 1926, in Adams County, the daughter of Isaac Watkins Sr. and Elizabeth Morris Watkins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George Quinn; one sister, Elizabeth “Sis” Wilson; and six brothers, James Ireland, Isaac Watkins Jr., Will T. Watkins, John Watkins Sr., Fred Watkins Sr., and Daniel Watkins Sr.

Survivors include one brother, the Rev. Samuel Watkins Sr. and wife, Pearlina; four godchildren, Ayanne “Taki” Logan, Jeremy Watkins, all of Natchez, Gerald Watkins of Piney Woods and Rosalind Scott Brown of Atlanta; and a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends.
