ROXIE — Services for Clara Delune “Nannie “ Cater, 76, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2013, at her residence, will be at 5 p.m. Sunday at New Hope Baptist Church in Roxie, Cranfield community.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today and from 3 p.m. until service time Sunday, both at the church.

Mrs. Cater was born Aug. 23, 1936, in Pleasant Hill, La., the daughter of G.A. and Mildred Grantham.

He was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 49 years, David E. “Pop” Cater.

Survivors include a loving daughter, Helen Foster and husband, Bobby; a devoted son, Steve Cater and his companion, Sharon; four grandchildren, Johnathon Foster, Ethen Foster and wife, Randy, Travis Foster and David Cater and wife, Dana Megan; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mildred Maher and Margie Stevens; one brother, Frank Grantham; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Aaron Day, Corvan Day, Jarrett Day, Matt Cater, Jock Grantham and Bobby Grace.

Honorary pallbearers will be Wesley Forman and Rodney “Rod Nocker” Grantham.
