Mrs. Mitzi Burkley-Callon and Mr. Chase Callon of Natchez and Mr. Kenneth Butler of Ridgeland announce the engagement of their daughter, Kathleen Lanette Butler, to Brandon Alex Smith, son of Mrs. Naomi Jones and Mr. Gary Jones of Ferriday and Mr. Bert Smith of Natchez.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Natchez High School and a graduate of Mississippi University of Women where she received a bachelor of science degree in business administration. She is employed by Cognos Consultants, LLC, in Natchez.

She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. Joseph Emile Burkley and the late Mrs. Alice H. Burkley of Church Hill and the late Lehman Butler and Mrs. Kathleen W. Butler of Natchez.

The groom-to-be is also a graduate of Natchez High School and a graduate of University of Southern Mississippi where he received a bachelor of science degree in business administration. He is employed by Hicks Distributing in Natchez.

He is the grandson of the late Mr. Burdett Greenlee and the late Mrs. Christine Greenlee of Kilmichael and Mr. Howard Smith and Mrs. Betty Smith of Brookhaven.

The wedding will be Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013, at Weymouth Hall in Natchez.

A reception will follow the ceremony.
