FERRIDAY — Funeral services for Wesley Honeycutt Forman, 94, of Monterey, who died Saturday, Aug. 24, 2013 at Natchez Community Hospital, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday with the Rev. John Rushing officiating.
Burial will follow at Forman Cemetery in Monterey under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Young’s Funeral Home.
Mr. Forman was born Sept. 29, 1918, in Monterey, the son of Theodore Henry Forman and Bertha Forman. He was a resident of Monterey and a farmer. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II in the First Armored Division.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Olivia Louise Forman; one brother, T.H. “Bud” Forman Jr., and three sisters, Margaret Magoun, Jewel White and Marion Burley.
Survivors include one son, Wesley H. Forman Jr. and wife, Kathy, of Monterey; one daughter, Rhonda White of Vidalia; three grandsons, Wesley Forman III and wife, Ragenia, Kris Forman and wife, Lisette, and Craig White; one granddaughter, Amy White; one great-grandson, Ryan Forman; three great-granddaughters, Mary Forman, Ashley Forman and Annalee Forman, and one great-great granddaughter, Aubrey Taylor.
Pallbearers will be Wesley Forman III, Kris Forman, Craig White, Ryan Forman, Henry King and Jimbo Trant.
Honorary pallbearers will be the First Armored Division and his nieces and nephews.
