NATCHEZ — Services for Nellie Rae Hodge, 83, of Natchez, who died Monday, Aug. 26, 2013, at Tulane Medical Center in New Orleans, will be at 10 a.m. today at McNeely Road Church of God with the Rev. Brian Monehan, the Rev. Julius Roberts and the Rev. Scott Green officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time today at the church.

Mrs. Hodge was born Dec. 5, 1929, in Smithdale, the daughter of V.C. Westbrook and Ollie Burris Westbrook. She was a loving homemaker and a member of McNeely Road Church of God.

Mrs. Hodge was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Truman Hodge; four sisters; and three brothers.

Survivors include three daughters, Dell Ratcliff and husband, Ray, Linda Hampton and husband, Kenneth, and Ann Poole and husband, Harold, all of Natchez; one son, Tim Hodge and wife, Vicki, of Natchez; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one sister-in-law, Earlene Westbrook of Smithdale; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Ben Wroten, Bubba Wroten, Duane Poole, Luke Brumfield, Tyler Brumfield and Russell Archer.

Honorary pallbearers will be Stacy Wroten, Brannon Myrick, Staff Pesto and Steve Rollins.

The family of Mrs. Hodge extends thanks to the staff and residents at Crown Health and Rehab and the staff at Tulane Abdominal Transplant Unit.
