NATCHEZ – Services for Arthur “Tank” Berry, 49, of Branson, Mo., formerly of Natchez, who died Monday, Aug. 19, 2013, at his residence, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Pilgrim Baptist Church with the Rev. Melvin White officiating.
Burial will follow at Sunset View Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the church.
Mr. Berry was born Aug. 30, 1963, the son of D’Evereux Berry and Theadore McMorris. He was a 1981 graduate of North Natchez High School and a 1984 graduate of Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, La.
Mr. Berry was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include two sons, Arthur Barras and Uriah Barras, both of Arlington, Texas; two sisters, Deborah J. Berry and Diana B. Franklin and husband, Jerry, all of Natchez; seven brothers, Lawrence Berry and wife, Georganna, of Vidalia, Jonathan Berry and wife, Martha, David Berry and wife, Beverly, all of Carolton, Ga., James Berry and wife, Carol, of Fairburn, Ga., Edwin Berry and wife, Elayne, of Stone Mountain, Ga., Clarence Berry of Natchez and Henry Berry and wife, Rhonda, of Gulfport; two aunts, Mary Bradford of Natchez and Ernestine James of Leesville, La.; three special friends, Tami Briet, Kevin Griffin and Katie Beechner, all of Branson; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends throughout the Miss-Lou community.
