NATCHEZ — Services for Henry “Hento” Myles, 89, of Natchez, who died Thursday, Aug. 29, 2013, at his residence, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Jerusalem Baptist Church with the Rev. Willie Anderson officiating.
Burial will follow at the Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from noon to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Myles was born March 1, 1924, in Adams County, the son of Grant Myles and Mary Williams Jones.
Mr. Myles was retired from Armstrong Tire and Rubber Company and Grace United Methodist Church.
He was a member of Jerusalem Baptist Church.
Mr. Myles was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Elizabeth Johnson Myles.
Survivors include seven children, Frances Lloyd and husband, Wilbert, of Leesville, La., Theresa Myles Miller, Mary Jackson and husband, Leonard, Debra Williams and husband, Eric, Sandra Faye Jones and husband, Darril, and Yolanda Lyles and husband, Elbert; one sister, Alice James; eight grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; one special aunt, Mary Wallace, all of Natchez; and a number of other relatives and friends.
