NATCHEZ — Private family memorial services for George Franklin Smith Jr., 58, who died Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2013, at his residence will be at a later date.

Mr. Franklin was born Feb. 25, 1955, the son of George Franklin Sr. and Frances McMohan Smith.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, John A. Smith.

Survivors include one daughter, Anna Kate Smith Hughes and husband, Micheal; three brothers, James Smith and wife, Susan, Donald Smith and wife, Betty, and Earl Smith and wife, Cynthia; one grandson, Cash Hughes; and a number of nieces nephews, other relatives and friends.
