NATCHEZ — Funeral services for Frances Drake McKnight, 91, of Natchez, who died Monday, Sept. 9, 2013, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Shiloh Baptist Church with the Rev. Percy Turner officiating.

Burial will follow at the St. Paul African Methodist Episcopal Church Cemetery under the direction of R.D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. McKnight was born Feb. 10, 1922, in Adams County, the daughter of the Rev. James Drake and Beatrice Malone Drake. She was a housewife and member of Shiloh Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Obediah McKnight; and four sons, Dewayne McKnight, Nathaniel McKnight, Carl McKnight and Lawrence McKnight.

Survivors include three daughters, Dorothy Briggs of Chicago, Virginia Myles and husband, Izear, and Ethel McKnight Morris, all of Natchez; and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
