KAUFMAN, Texas — Services for Lawrence Carl Shaw III, 61, of Kaufman, Texas, who died Monday, Sept. 9, 2013, at his residence, were Thursday, Sept. 12, 2013, at Parker-Ashworth Funeral Home in Kaufman.

Burial followed at the Kaufman Cemetery under the direction of the funeral home.

Mr. Shaw was born March 1, 1952, in Natchez, the son of Lawrence Carl Shaw Jr. and Billie Jo Campbell.

Larry was raised in Natchez and lived in a number of areas around the country managing different ranches before moving to Kaufman 20 years ago. He was ranch manager for Clem-Gill Ranch in Kaufman.

Larry also attended Georgia Southern College in Statesboro, Ga.

On Sept. 17, 1994, he married Raylene Carter in Terrell, Texas.

Survivors include his wife; one son, Hagen Shaw of Kaufman; two daughters, Larissa Shaw of Hendersonville, Tenn., and Megan Shaw of Kaufman; his parents of Kaufman; one sister, Delou Sabin of Trappe. Md.; and a number of other relatives and friends.
