NATCHEZ — Services for Jim Reeves, 74, of Natchez, who died Sept. 20, 2013, at his residence, will be 2:30 p.m., Friday at Pine Ridge Presbyterian Church with Kelley Baleridge and Sean Morris officiating. Sarah Morris will provide music.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be noon until 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Mr. Reeves was born Feb. 21, 1939, in Monroe County, the son of Thomas Andrew Reeves and Lester Mae Garrett Reeves.

Jim was a member and deacon at Pine Ridge Presbyterian Church. He was a terrific salesman at A and B Motors and Gardner Motors. Over the years, he sold many cars to the people of Natchez. He was one of the original owners of the Sandbar Restaurant. In all he did, many deeds of charity known and unknown were carried out. Mr. Reeves was generous, caring, loved his children and pets, a great gardener and loved to cook.

Survivors include three sons, Adam North of Baton Rouge, David North of Owosso, Mich., and Alan Wall of Austin, Texas; one daughter, Suzanne Joffrion of Sugar Land, Texas; two brothers, Billy Reeves of Nettleton, Miss. and Jerry Reeves of Sulligent, Ala.; one sister, Dianne Spinks of Jackson.

Pallbearers will be Scott Morris, David Smith, Joe McConnell, James Schuchs, Bobby Walls and Wayne Felter.

Honorary pallbearers will be Lamar Felter and Kent Blanton.
