NEW ORLEANS — Services for Blanche “Dolly” Tujague Blattner, 92, of New Orleans, who died at her residence Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2013, will be 11 a.m. Saturday, at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home in New Orleans.

Burial will follow in Metairie Cemetery.

Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday until service time at the church.

Mrs. Blattner was born Nov. 20, 1920, the daughter of Albert Tujague Jr. and Blanche Boudreaux Tujague.

Dolly was a graduate of Mt. Carmel High School and Ursuline College.

She was married to Frederick E. Blattner Jr. for 54 years. She was a warm and loving mother and grandmother. Dolly’s garden at her Mid City home was her pride for 46 years. She enjoyed many travel adventures with her husband after his retirement and in recent years stayed active playing bridge.

She is preceded in death by her husband.

Survivors include one son, Michael Blattner and wife, Sharon; two daughters, Jan Reuther and husband, John, and Kathy Gapsis and husband, Greg; 10 grandchildren, Seth Blattner, Christopher Brooks, Shannon Crawford, Jeff Reuther, Jeremy Reuther, Julie Crowl, James Reuther, Joe Reuther, Helen Gapsis, Claire Gapsis; three great-grandchildren, Isabel Crawford, Olivia Crawford, and George Crowl.
