CENTREVILLE — Services for Dot Buchanan Rollins, 88, of Centreville, who died at her residence Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2013, will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Centreville Baptist Church with the Rev. Dennis Johnsey officiating.
Burial will follow at the Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of Newman Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday and noon until service time Saturday, both at the church.
Mrs. Rollins was a residence of Centreville for 64 years. She was a member of Centreville Baptist Church. She loved music and sang in the choir for 61 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; James Richardson Buchanan and Hattie Belle Buchanan; her husband, John Fletcher Rollins; one sister, Emily B. Griffith.
Survivors include two daughters; Emily Rollins Nicholas of Madison; and Sue Ellen Rollins Wells of Centreville; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be John Benjamin Havard, James Andrew Havard, Justin C. Wells, Emmette Wayne Knighton, Lionel Slack and Patrick Michael Stanton.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Ricardo Nimo and Rev. Fred Day.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Centreville Baptist Church or to Centreville Academy.
