Mary Bradley Herrington

NATCHEZ — Services for Mary Bradley Herrington, 78, of Natchez, who died Sunday, Sept. 29, 2013, at her residence, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Pilgrim Baptist Church with the Rev. Percy Turner officiating.

Burial will follow in the Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Monday at the funeral home and 9 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the church.

Mrs. Herrington was born Sept. 19, 1935, in Adams County, the daughter of Mary Bradley and Parker Plummer.

She was a member of the motherboard at Greenleaf Baptist Church, Willing Workers and Youth Support Department at Greenleaf Baptist Church.

Mrs. Herrington was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Bradley Mosby and Philip Mosby and Parker Plummer, and one sister, Catherine Mosby

Survivors include a loving and devoted husband, Allen D. Herrington Sr., four sons, Allen Herrington Jr., and wife, Linda, of Houston, Clyde Herrington, and wife, Aundrea, of Dallas, Hugh Herrington, and wife, Janice, of Kathleen, Ga., and Micheal Herrington and wife, Felecia, of Richardson, Texas; one daughter, Denise Brown, and husband, Henry, of Natchez; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three brothers, Philip Mosby and wife, Barbara, of South Bend, Ind., Maurice Mosby of Toledo, Ohio, and Darryl Mosby and wife, Kathie, of Atlanta; two sisters, Leona Mosby of Stone Mountain, Ga., and Elaine Foster of South Bend, Ind; and a number of other relatives and friends.
