NATCHEZ — If the winds die down, Saturday afternoon’s race will take off from the levee north of the Vidalia Riverfront and headed across the Mississippi River to the balloon festival site. Pilots will determine whether to fly on the levee and may decide closer to 6 p.m.

5:46 update — Race has been called off due to high winds. There will be a balloon glow at approximately 7 p.m. at the festival site.
