NATCHEZ— Funeral services for Syble W. McMillon, 77, of Crestview, Fla., formerly of Natchez, who died Saturday, Oct. 19, 2013, at Crestview Rehabilitation Center, will be at 11 a.m. today, at Laird Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Jeff Brewer officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday and 10 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. McMillon was born Aug. 30, 1936, in Wilkinson County. She was the daughter of Richard Leonard Wisner and Pearl Perry Wisner. She was a retired insurance supervisor at Natchez Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. McMillion was a member of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Emmett D. McMillion Sr.; one daughter, Beverly A . Scott; one grandson, DeWayne Scott Jr. and sister, Wauketza Wisner.

Survivors include one son, Emmett D. McMillon Jr., and wife, Pamela of Crestview; one granddaughter, Amanda McMillon; two grandsons, Sean McMillon and Emmett Scott; two great-granddaughters, Beverly D. Scott and Elissa Scott; one great-grandson, DeWayne G. Scott.

Pallbearers will be Paul Leake, Michael Essary, Wesley Howell, Walton Wilson, Emmett Scott and Sean McMillon.

Memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
