A tornado watch means conditions have created a significant risk of a tornado occurring.

The annual Trick or Treat for Little Feet Halloween event has been postponed until Friday.

The event will be from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Friday in downtown Natchez.

There are no certain times throughout the city for residents to trick-or-treat.

Trick-or-treating in Vidalia has been postponed until 6 to 9 p.m. Friday.

The Town of Ferriday will host its first city wide “Trunk-a-Treat” event from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Haney’s Big House on First Street.

Ferriday Police Department officials encouraged residents to trick-or-treat within the town from 5 to 8 p.m. today if weather isn’t severe.

All areas are also under a flash flood watch throughout the evening as 1 to 3 inches of rain is expected to fall throughout the day.

Strong wind gusts of 35 to 45 mph are also possible, according to the NWS.

The severe weather is linked to a cold front pushing east into a warm air mass across the region.
