NATCHEZ— Funeral services for Virginia Ann Arbuthnot Thomas, 58, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2013, at the University Medical Center in Jackson, will be at 3 p.m. today at New Hope The Vision Center with the Rev. Kenneth Stanton officiating.

Burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be at the start of service.

Ms. Thomas was born July 10, 1955, the daughter of Louis and Beatrice Carter Arbuthnot.

She was preceded in death by her parents; maternal and paternal grandparents.

Survivors include her husband, Willie Thomas; one daughter, Jasmine Thomas, both of Natchez; two sisters, Dorothy Dogan and husband, George of Baker, La., and Brenda White and husband, the Rev. Dr. Gregory, of Baton Rouge, La.; one brother, Willie Arbuthnot and wife, Rena, of Shreveport, La.; mother-in-law, Mildred Thomas; and a number of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends.
