NATCHEZ — Services for Vivian Marie Aarons, 70, of Vidalia, who died Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013, at her residence, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bill McMullin officiating.

Burial will follow in the Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today and 10 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Aarons was born March 1, 1943, the daughter of Quincy David Gill and Estelle Gamberi Gill.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Vidalia. Mrs. Aarons retired from Bell South Telephone Company. She loved to travel with her sister-in-law Ilene.

Mrs. Aarons was preceded in death by her mother; one daughter, Stephanie Harper; and one brother, David Gill Jr.

Survivors include her husband of 19 years, Douglas M. Aarons of Vidalia; one son, Danny Harper Jr.; one daughter, Pam Chassion, both of Maryland; one stepson, Douglas W. Aarons and wife, Susan, of Tallahassee, Fla.; one stepdaughter, Leah Mendoza and husband, Michael, of Folson, La.; 15 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two brothers, Michael Gill and wife, Ilene, and Raymond Gill and wife, Sherry, of Natchez; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Eddie Beach, Chris Gill, John Hundley, B.J. Gill, Jay Massey and John Gamberi.
