FERRIDAY — Funeral services for Harrison Lee Hooper, 57, of Ferriday, who died Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2013 at Heritage Manor Health and Rehab will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, at the St. Thomas Baptist Church in Levee Heights in Ferriday with the Rev. Robert Strickland officiating.

Burial will follow in the Ferriday Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home.

Visitation will be today from 5 to 7 p.m. at Concordia Funeral Home.

Mr. Hooper was born Aug. 25, 1956, in Natchez, to Willie Hooper Jr. and Rosie Lee Neal Hooper. He was a heavy equipment operator. He was also a deacon at St. Thomas Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father and a granddaughter, Erica Jefferson.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Frazier Hooper; mother; stepfather, John Franklin;  four daughters, Yolanda Perkins and husband, Eric Jefferson, Marcie Perkins, Karen Hooper and LaWanda Hooper, all of Ferriday; step daughter, Salone Frazier of Dallas; four brothers, Warren Neal, Jimmie Hooper and wife, Linda, Johnnie Hooper, all of Ferriday and Earl Neal and wife, Vickie, of Natchez; two sisters, Verona Hooper and Shirley Hooper, of Ferriday; and a number of step sisters and step brothers; aunts and uncles; six grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
