NATCHEZ — Funeral services for Rosa Lee Edwards Lyles, 84, of Natchez, who died Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Egypt Baptist Church in Natchez, with the Rev. Ernest Ford Sr. officiating.

Burial will follow in the Egypt Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today at Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.

Ms. Lyles was born April 7, 1929 in Natchez, the daughter of Wilbert Edwards and Theresa Reynolds Mazique. She was educated in Adams County.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Robert Lee Edwards; daughter, Wille Mae Edwards; brothers, Thomas Edwards and Henry Edwards; sister, Lizzie Edwards and nephews, Morris and Archie Edwards.

Survivors include her husband, Early Lyles; four sons, Walter James and Willie James Edwards of California, Charles Edwards and wife, Pamela, and Joseph Edwards and wife, Salina; sister, Burteal Frazier of Texas; brother, Lawrence Frazier of California; special nieces, Laura Edwards and Vicky King of Natchez; 17 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; her extended Lyles family and a number of nieces, nephews and family members.
